Personally here in the US, they allow smoking in all parts of the casino except the poker room it would seem, and even then if it's not closed off it's all parts of the damn casino. I wouldn't work at one if I was pregnant just because there's so much smoke, it's unhealthy for both of you.
I live in Maryland. Before it said Japan and I have no idea why, anyway its a law here that there is no smoking allowed in any building so there won't be smoking inside the casino, but I just still fear that if its suppose to be a sexy type of work place and most of it is based of tips, that a pregnant woman would just be a damper on it The only ones I've been to had their employees dress like waitresses, or like hotel employees.

It's free entrance for foreigners, so why not just walk in and have a little tour even if you are not interested in gambling. There are free flows of drinks as well. The board walk is fantastic.
